Novice Keepers Zoom 20th May 2022

Are you a novice keeper of Highlanders or considering getting started with the breed?. This Zoom meeting with Fieldsman Robin Chilton is your ticket to all sorts of helpful advice and support. Topics will be varied with plenty of opportunity to ask questions. This meeting is open to Highland Cattle Club of Wales paid members. If you are not a member please consider joining. Our annual membership fee is £20 and gives you access to lots of great club activities.

Practical at Royal Welsh Agricultural Show

Tuesday 19th July 2022 @10am- Preparing Highland Cattle for Showing

Join us in the Cattle lines at the Royal Welsh on the Tuesday morning at 10am to learn all about the practicalities of showing Highland cattle. Robin along with some experienced Club members will share with you insider knowledge how to prepare your cattle and offer handling advice to give you the confidence to try it yourself. An opportunity not to be missed!

Practical at Newtown College- Calving Practicalities 29th of October 2022

Join us at Newtown College to learn all about the ins and outs of calving. What to expect when your cows are expecting and what to possibly not expect but to be prepared for. Demonstrations with a demo cow will make this a practical to remember and provide participants with hands on experience.
